Kyiv – the capital of Ukraine

Many people in the world don’t know what Kiev city  is country.

That is why I write this post, in order to help you get more information from first hands. My name is Elena and I am from Ukraine and live in Kiev.

Kyiv is a capital of Ukraine. It is a big and historical city, an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre of Eastern Europe.

It is home to many high-techindustries, higher education institutions and world-famous historical landmarks.

The city has an extensive infrastructure and highly developed system of public transport, including the Kiev Metro.

The city’s name is said to derive from the name of Kyi, one of its four legendary founders.

The city is devided for two parts “Left bank” and “Right bank” with the river Dniper.

All historical places are located in the very centre of the city. And hat is the place there the Kievan Rus begun in the 10-th century.


This city is Divided into two parts with the river Dniper. But the main political and business part is the right bank part of the city. 

Here are many historical places and Business centers. 

When you come to Kiev, plan at list a week to see more and try more, because Ukrainian Cuisine is a very tasty and natural. The girls are the most beautiful. And men are hard workers.

There are two airports, which can help to arrive to Kyiv.
